Moving in Durham
Durham gets free delivery and pickup. It is the closest town to Chico on our list after Chico itself, so there is no convenience fee on either leg and nothing changes about the price you see on the packages page.
Most addresses out here are rural: long gravel driveways, gates, and houses set well back from the road. That is easier for us than a downtown apartment, not harder, because there is somewhere to put a stack of totes and room to get the dolly to it. Tell us the gate code in the notes field when you book and you do not need to be home.
Moves here tend to involve more than the house. Outbuildings, a shop, a garage that has been filling up for a decade. If you are weighing up sizes, count the storage as well as the bedrooms, and lean one package larger. Totes stack five high and hold their shape, so the spares are not in your way.
